Proud to be Filipina. Proud to be a morena. Proud to be a siyentista.
I love to travel and I’m not afraid to go solo. I love new experiences and being exposed to new cultures. I love trying to learn new languages (and I will try to write some pieces in French just so the native francophones can point out my mistakes!). I love life and every second of it that I am blessed with!
On a more serious note, I am a faculty member of the Institute of Biology, University of the Philippines Diliman. However, I am currently on-study leave to pursue my PhD. I study in the Université de Montpellier in France and I work with researchers from CEFE-CNRS and CBGP for my thesis.
My research is mainly focused on the ecology of Philippine fig-fig wasp systems. But the ultimate goal is to popularize the use of fig species in restoring degraded landscapes in the Philippines.
See you around then!
